What is a Legends ProAm? It is a 1-day format whereby 3 amateurs partner a professional in a team format while the professional plays their own ball. The amateurs play for team prizes (around $5000 - $6000) and the pros for a purse of $11,000 which is part of the Legends tour order of merit.

Sponsorship opportunities are still available but limited.  Why be a sponsor? St Clair Golf Course will be hosting the Legends ProAm.  The first of its kind to be held here in over 10 years. This is a great way for a sponsor to engage with the St Clair, Dunedin and wider Otago golfing community through the experience of playing with a Legends Pro.  

What is a Legends Pro? It is a golf pro 50 years or older. The field may include players that have formerly played and won on the European Tour (DP World Tour), PGA Tour and the PGA Tour of Australasia. Some names to expect playing but not limited to are Peter Fowler, Peter Senior and New Zealand’s Michael Long.
